Manufactured in 1976 as per serial number. The Browning Hi-Power is a renowned semi-automatic single action pistol with a rich history and significant influence in the world of firearms. Designed by John Moses Browning and completed by Dieudonné Saive at Fabrique Nationale (FN) in Belgium, the Hi-Power was introduced in 1935. Its design and performance have earned it a legendary status, making it a favorite among military, law enforcement, and civilian shooters worldwide. One of the key design elements of the Hi-Power is its ergonomics. The pistol has a slim, comfortable grip that accommodates a wide range of hand sizes. This ergonomic design, along with its relatively low bore axis, helps manage recoil and improve overall handling. The Hi-Power’s all-steel construction adds to its durability and longevity. It has a beautiful deep blued finish with checkered walnut factory grips, a manual thumb safety and magazine disconnect safety, fixed sights, and a standard long spur hammer.
