Manufactured in 1975 as per serial number. This Marlin 336 in 30-30 Win rifle bears a “JM” stamp on the left side of the barrel near the receiver, showing it was made at the original North Haven, Connecticut plant before Remington and Ruger ownership. It uses Micro-Groove rifling (multiple shallow grooves) rather than traditional deep rifling, which provides great accuracy with standard .30-30 lead or jacketed bullets. It has a flat-top solid steel receiver, side ejection (allowing easy top-scope mounting), and a square bolt design. It also features a blued finish, smooth walnut forend and pistol grip stock, gold trigger, and iron sights. Includes a leather sling. It has some signs of normal use. Please see photos. C&R
