Model: 60
Caliber: 38 S&W Special
Action: DA
Bore: Bright
Serial # R91564
Condition: Very Good
Manufactured by Smith & Wesson in 1973, this Model 60 Chiefs Special Stainless .38 S&W Special 5-shot revolver features serial number R91564, placing its production firmly within the highly desirable early "R" prefix serialization block. Representing a landmark piece of American firearms history as the world's first regular-production stainless steel revolver line, this compact J-frame platform showcases the traditional pinned barrel construction that was later phased out in the early 1980s. Built with a double-action/single-action mechanism and designed specifically for discreet concealed carry, this vintage wheelgun carries an inherent premium among enthusiasts of classic pinned-and-recessed era Smith & Wessons; for a detailed evaluation of the satin finish, cylinder lockup, and original grip condition, please see the photos.
