This custom 1995 FN/Browning Hi-Power Practical single-action pistol (Serial Number: 2W5NV58914) features an elite package of custom modifications performed by Master Pistolsmith Jim Garthwaite in October 2019. Chambered in .40 S&W, this 1.875 lb pistol features a 4 ?-inch barrel and a 7 ¾-inch overall length. Acquired in pristine, near-mint OEM condition, it features a distinctive two-tone KG Light & Stealth Grey and Flat Black finish. The fire control group features a Garthwaite commander hammer, matching sear, safety selector, an upgraded trigger job, and a Garthwaite flat-face trigger set to a smooth, linear 4-pound pull. The action is built out with fresh Wolff springs, a 22 lb recoil spring, and new Browning OEM internal components.
The slide incorporates a flattened top with anti-glare grooves, a checkered rear face, an accent groove along the slide stop, and a 24kt gold dot front sight matched with a Heinie rear sight. The frame features a custom-contoured upward-sweeping beavertail, a polished feed ramp and throat, a complete de-horn job, and aggressive texturing on both the front and back straps. It retains its factory grips and comes equipped with a custom-fitted barrel, plus an additional spare custom-fitted barrel. This double-stack model offers a 10+1 round capacity. The overall condition of this custom pistol is very good. Please see the photos.
