This custom 1969 FN/Browning Hi-Power C-Series single-action 9mm pistol (Serial Number: 69C19424) features extensive, high-tier modifications performed by gunsmith Brian Searcy of Cylinder & Slide in April 2020. The firearm is finished in an FDE Ionbond DLC/PVD coating executed by Evolution Armory. Built to an exact overall length of 7 ¾ inches with a 4 ?-inch barrel, this 1.875 lb pistol features an ACC-U-RAIL frame modification for optimal slide-to-frame fitment. The fire control group includes a C&S bobtail hammer, matching sear, upgraded safety, a Garthwaite flat-face trigger tuned to a crisp 4-pound break, and fresh Wolff springs with an 18.5 lb recoil spring.
Precision machine work on the slide includes a flattened top with anti-glare grooves, a checkered rear face to eliminate reflection, a custom manufacturer's accent groove along the slide stop, a 24kt gold dot front sight, and a Bo-Mar adjustable rear sight. The frame features a custom-contoured upward-sweeping beavertail, aggressive stippling on both the front and back straps, a complete de-horn treatment for carry optimization, and premium VZ grips. A custom-fit Barsto barrel is installed, and a spare matching custom-fit barrel is included. This double-stack pistol offers a 15+1 round capacity. The overall condition of this custom handgun is very good. Please see the photos.
