This Stainless Smith & Wesson Model 686-6 “Plus” has a 2.5” underlug barrel, a medium-frame (L-frame) double-action/single-action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum and .38 Special. The “-6” designation signifies the sixth engineering revision of the iconic 686 lineup, which famously introduced the internal frame lock (frequently referred to by enthusiasts as the “Hillary Hole”) and a frame-mounted firing pin. This version is a 686 Plus, expanding the traditional 6 shot cylinder to a 7 shot fluted cylinder. It also has a red ramp front and an adjustable rear sight, case hardened trigger and hammer, and a sey of dark checkered walnut factory grips. Includes a factory case and papers.
