Manufactured in 1975 as per serial number. The Smith & Wesson Model 59, produced from 1971 until it was discontinued in 1982, is a 9mm, double-action/single-action semi-automatic pistol. It features a 4” barrel, lightweight anodized aluminum frame, blued steel slide with slide mounted safety decocker, fixed front and adjustable rear sights, and black plastic checkered S&W factory grips.
