Type 99 “Series 6” Nagoya Arsenal Arisaka were produced from 1939-1945. This rifle like most Arisaka rifles has had the mum removed from the top of the receiver ring. As with a lot of surplus rifles after the war people modified them as hunting rifles and sporterized them. This rifle’s stock was cut down from its original length but has not been drilled and tapped for a scope mount and retains its original military front blade and rear tangent sights. It has quite a bit of finish wear but it was a battlefield pickup. Please see photos. C&R
