Designed for the hunter, sport shooter, and tactical enthusiast, the Izhmash SAIGA-308-1 combines the legendary ruggedness of the AK 47 platform with the powerful performance of the .308 Winchester caliber. Manufactured in 2007 by the prestigious Russian firm Izhmash, now known as Kalashnikov Concern, this model stands out with its superior craftsmanship and a distinct bulged RPK receiver, enhancing its structural integrity and reliability. It has a custom walnut forend and Monte Carlo style pistol grip stock with a rubber recoil pad, adjustable rear sight, an AK 74 style muzzle break that has been welded to the front making the 14� barrel a legal length of 17.5�. It has a Russian black coating on the metal parts, and a right side scope rail with a mounted 4-12×42 rifle scope with a duplex reticle. Includes 2 – 24rnd, 1 – 25rnd, and 1 – 20rnd magazines, and a canvas military sling. It has signs of use with some finish wear in areas. Please see photos.
