Manufactured in 2014 as per serial number. This Government Model (Model O configuration) delivers a classic 5” barrel, polished blued steel slide and frame 1911 with modernized features. It has Colt custom checkered hardwood grips with a bold logo, a flat serrated mainspring housing, and a smooth front strap. Slide details include both front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered, flared ejection port. The sights are fixed, dovetailed, low-mount 3-dot, providing a clean, snag-resistant profile well-suited to the Government’s size. This Series 80 pistol is single-action only and incorporates a firing pin block, a left-side manual thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety with memory bump, and a half-cock notch. The trigger is the skeletonized 3 hole type, paired with a skeletonized commander-style hammer, and the recoil system is a full-length stainless guide rod. Includes 2 – 7rnd magazines, a set of double diamond checkered walnut grip panels, in the factory case with papers. Please see photos.
