Notes Superior Iron Man #1 (2014) launches a bold new era for Tony Stark as he embraces the darker “Superior” persona spun out of the AXIS storyline. Written by Tom Taylor with art by Yildiray Cinar, this issue reimagines Stark as a sharper, more manipulative futurist whose Extremis-fueled vision puts him at odds with the people he claims to help. A strong modern key in the Iron Man mythos and a standout start to a popular villain‑leaning arc.
