Vintage coin-operated cocktail table arcade machine set up for Arkanoid, in a dark woodgrain cabinet with a smoked glass top bolted securely in place over a built-in colour monitor viewed from above. The end control panel has blue and yellow pinstripe graphics, a centre spinner knob that rotates freely for paddle control, 2 red fire buttons and 2 white player start buttons. Side-mounted coin door with dual 25 cent coin slots, coin return slots, 2 coin mechanisms inside and a key in the lock. Interior includes the CRT monitor and chassis, power supply and a game board connected to the original wiring harness through an adapter, as the cabinet was converted from its original game. Machine powers on and the monitor lights up bright, but the picture is out of sync and shows rolling diagonal bars, so it will need a monitor adjustment or board repair, and the game has not been confirmed on screen. Measures 28" x 24" x 33". Glass top shows scratches and residue, the control panel has paint wear, and the cabinet has scuffs and interior dust consistent with age. Sold as is. | | *Arkanoid was released by Taito in 1986 and became one of the most popular brick-breaking arcade games of all time, with players steering the Vaus paddle using a spinner knob to clear colourful brick walls.
