Hi, I’m Kamryn Hiemstra and I am a First Year Sr member with the Freedom Naples 4H Multi Club. I purchased my project steer from the Long Family Farm, he is a Red Angus named McSteamy, Steaks, or Buddy and is roughly 1500lbs. I precisely weigh and mix his ration every feeding, it consists of Rolled Barley, protein supplement, beet pulp, molasses, mineral and hay. I have really enjoyed working with my steer over the last seven months and I’m definitely going to miss him. I plan to be a veterinarian in the future, so I thank the buyer of my steer in advance for supporting me with that.
