Hi my name is Jessica Hodgetts and this is my 11th year of 4-h. I am a senior member of the Meadowview Multi 4H Club. I am proud to tell you about my steer Ferdinand. He is a home raised Red Angus steer from our farm herd. I picked him because he had a good frame and a lot of depth to him, which makes him a good steer to me. This is my 5th year doing a steer project. I have been feeding him a mixed grain ration and grass hay, and can’t wait to see what he weighs on sale day. I plan to use this money from my steer to go towards college.
