Restored 1962 Ford Thunderbird, 390cu engine, complete rebuilt transmission in July 2025, 3 speed cruise-o-Matic, vin 2Y83Z137370, 31,412 miles, slide away steering column, A/C, power steering, power brakes, stored in heated garage year round, Tucson yellow paint, overall showroom condition.
Interior has been beautifully redone. Seats have been re-upholstered and are free from tears and any signs of wear and tear. Door panels and headliner are straight and in great condition. Carpet is also new.
390 engine runs strong and without any smoking. Complete rebuilt transmission in July 2025. Engine and Carburetor have been rebuilt/refreshed and wears the correct blue paint. Factory AC is still intact and blows cold. Inner fenders were painted body color. Firewall remained black. Gas tank is new. Engine Bay is clean and tidy and shows the very high level of care, effort, and time put into it.
Dual exit factory exhaust system with manifolds has a nice rumble and suits the car quite well. The underside was painted black, it along with the frame shows no sign of any damage.
Factory power front drum and rear disc brakes have been recently refreshed and all stop as they should. Suspension is all factory and the car rides at a nice height and drives straight.
Factory rims and hubcaps. Matching set of 4 “Maximizer Road Handler” 205/75/14 Tires are fairly new and still have plenty of tread left.
Hagerty Insurance appraised it at $31,750.
