Gallmeyer & Livingston Grand Rapids Model A surface grinder, manufactured in the 1920s in Grand Rapids, MI. The magnetic table measures 10″ x 36″ with a 5″ arbor, and accepts grinding wheels up to 20″ (buyer supplied). Equipped with a 3-phase motor, the machine has been tested and runs. Condition is consistent with age: the machine runs and grinds as expected, but electrical controls for the pumps and magnetic chuck require repair and are currently disabled, and the slide oiling system drains poorly. Normal cosmetic wear including scratches, paint loss, and light rust.
