Hello there, my name is William Madsen. I brought a market steer to achievement day. I am 16 years old and in grade 11, I do not like school, that’s ok because I only have one semester left! My steer’s name is Bryan. Bryan is an angus X purchased from Mile 14 feedlot. I have been feeding my steer, and his pen mate, barley and silage. I mix them together just like a feed wagon would at a feedlot. The barley is grown on our farm, we grind it and add in mineral. I feed him Alfalfa silage which we also put up on our own land. Bryan has a butcher spot booked at The Rail which is a butcher located near Evansburg. I look forward to talking with you at our stall and of course, I hope to see you at the sale or online!
