My name is Liam Hagman. I am 16 years old and I am in grade 11 at the Mayerthorpe High School. Some hobbies I enjoy are painting, playing guitar and riding my snowmobile or dirt bike. I’m on my 9th year of 4-H, and am currently a senior member of the Anselmo Willing Workers 4-H Multi Club. Being a member of this club has helped me gain confidence and taught me many valuable skills, some things include public speaking and volunteering in my community, but I especially enjoy the time I have spent learning about raising, and showing cattle.
This year I chose Rusty, a Simmental Angus cross from my uncle’s herd. Rusty has been a very calm steer so far and is great to work with, I’m looking forward to a successful achievement day.
I have secured a butcher spot at Droptine Custom Meats. Rusty is hormone free and I took special care in feeding and looking after him so he would grow to be the perfect steer to feed your family!
