This is a sporterized 98 Mauser rifle. It does not have any markings of a manufacture or caliber anywhere to be found but it did chamber a 30-06 Springfield round. It has been drilled and tapped for mounting optics and has a blade front sight with a side mount for a rear peep. It has a walnut Monte Carlo stock witha rubber recoil pad. Includes a leather sling. There are scratches, dings, and on the wood and some finish wear and exterior rust on the barrel, and receiver. Please see photos. C&R
