Rare and difficult to find BNZ 1944 LATE WAR K98k 8mm bolt action Mauser rifle in Sniper Configuration. Manufacturer�s code BNZ serial number 2713 stamped on receiver, matching Late War Bolt, BYF stamped floor plate trigger guard, upper/ lower barrel bands.1944 Late War K98k�s are difficult to find in this condition were quickly manufactured to keep up with war effort. Firing Proofs (FP) Nazi-style eagles, acceptance stamps Waffenamts w/Nazi – style eagles are all intact. Laminated Stock with cupped buttplate is in excellent condition and features cleaning rod, front hood sight and original rifle sling. It important to keep in mind this rifle is NOT a Russian Capture and is NOT Import Marked. VOIGLANDER BAUNSCHWEG SCOPE This sniper rifle boasts a very special and difficult to find Voigtlander Braunschweig German Rifle Scope. Serial# 20910 originally introduced as a WW1 sniper rifle scope for the Mauser 98, but as quality scopes became scarce late in WW2, these collectors� scopes were returned to service, reissued for use and mounted using a High Turret Split Ring mount. Scope is in excellent condition, post and line reticle with perfect lenses for the age and has probably seen action in WW1 and WW2. Please see photos.
