Numbers Matching Set!!! #UA17512, Manufactured in Eibar Spain in 1957 as per (“square” C1) Spanish nitro proof code. This 2 barrel set includes a 26″ marked with a #1 and a 30″ marked #2 in gold above the chambers on the rib. they both are beautifully blued and have white bead sights, the barrel flats have 2 3/4″ chamber nitro proofs, Silver H&H sidelock action features automatic safety �S� inlaid in gold, hidden third fastener, bushed strikers, raised rib tumbler end cocking indicators, H&H type hand detachable locks, double triggers (front articulated). Action is very nicely filed and hand engraved with very well done full coverage of large acanthus with floral highlights on a field of small scroll. Sidelocks and bottom of action are engraved “ARMERA UNION S. L. EIBAR” on scrolled ribbons. Single beaded trigger guard with more scroll on bow is engraved “Mo 215″ on tang. 1931 Eibar proofs for smokeless powder and Eibar house crest on watertable. Very nicely marbled European walnut Prince of Wales grip buttstock measures 14 – 1/4” over rubber recoil pad. Stock is classically styled and checkered with drop points, point pattern checkering. Matching splinter ejector forend has Anson release. The 26� barrel has �Modified� chokes on both Left and Right, the 30� barrel has a Left �Full� and a Right �Modified� choke. It appears to have had little use and retains nearly all factory finishes on wood and metal, with a scattering of light marks, finish mark on 30� barrel left side. Bores are excellent.
