Manufactured between 1947-1952 as per “N” in the serial number. This Iver Johnson Sealed 8 is a double-action 8 shot revolver chambered in .22 LR. The Sealed 8 was specifically created for inexpensive plinking and target shooting. It has an 8 shot fluted cylinder, fixed sights, smooth walnut factory grips, 2.5” barrel, and a case hardened trigger and hammer. The frame keeps its original blued finish while the barrel and cylinder appear to have little left. It functions well in double action but the hammer doesn’t stay back all the time for single action use (needs a gunsmith to take a look). Please see photos. C&R
