Manufactured in 1980 as per serial number. This S&W Model 57 �No Dash� in .41 Magnum has a deep polished blued finish and the highly desirable “pinned and recessed” 6� half lug barrel that S&W eliminated in 1982. It also features a 6 shot fluted and recessed cylinder, red ramp front sight and a high notch rear sight, with target case hardened trigger and hammer with floating firing pin, and smooth walnut grip panels. These pre-82 revolvers were hand fitted during production. There is some very slight finish wear towards the muzzle. Please see photos.
