Manufactured in 1988 as per serial number. The Colt MK IV/Series 80 Mustang Plus II is a micro-compact, single-action .380 ACP pistol that combines the shorter slide and barrel of the original Mustang with the longer 7rnd grip frame of the Government Model. Produced roughly from 1988 to 1996, it offers higher capacity with a more concealable barrel length. Because it was only in production for a short window, the Plus II is considered a bit of a rarity among Colt collectors. It has all the amenities of its 1911 big brother without the rear grip safety. It has an all steel construction with a beautiful blued finish, stainless barrel, fixed sights, and factory Colt plastic checkered grips. Includes 2 – 7rnd magazines. It does not appear to have been fired. Please see photos.
